The Introduction to Acting for Adults series is back at DUCTAC (Dubai Community Theatre and Arts Centre) this November 5th. This special month program will mark the 10th edition of the course with brilliant and fun-loving alumni, all members of groups bearing their own troupe-names. To take part of the excitement shared by the likes of the Othello’s, Albatross, or Chi Aspire troupes, sign up now and explore the art of acting in a total of 12 action-packed hours. Topics include improvisation, voice, movement, Shakespeare for beginners, character development, scene study, and audition style. With all levels welcomed and led by director Sol Abiad (theatre instructor at Paris-Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi), the learning process involves a lot of game-playing and creative thinking. Limited class-size, pre-registration is advised.
